Subjects offered under this department include: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agriculture, Physics, Chemistry, Computer studies, Home Economics, Clothing and Textile and Technical Drawing

At Mponela Secondary School, learning extends beyond the classroom through a variety of academic enrichment activities designed to develop critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and practical skills. Students actively participate in quiz competitions, Mathematics Olympiads, debates, public speaking contests, science fairs, and academic clubs that challenge them to excel and compete at higher levels.
